Job Description:
As a Solution Specialist at Octopai, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the unique data challenges faced by our prospective clients and demonstrating how our solutions can address these challenges. While having a data background is preferable, it is not a must – we are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to learn about data management and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with our sales team to engage with potential clients during the presales phase. Understand their data-related pain points, challenges, and business objectives.
• Solution Demonstrations: Leverage your technical skills and product knowledge to deliver impactful and tailored demonstrations of Octopai’s solutions. Showcase the value proposition of our products in addressing specific client needs.
• Requirements Analysis: Utilize your ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and apply critical thinking to analyze client requirements. Translate these requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Technical Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and value propositions to a non-technical audience. Adapt your communication style to match the level of understanding of the client.
• Learning and Development: Continuously expand your knowledge of Octopai’s products, industry trends, and data management best practices. Engage in self-learning to bridge any gaps in your data background.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product management, and technical support, to gather client feedback, contribute to product enhancements, and ensure a seamless transition from presales to post-sales activities.
• Relationship Building: Build strong client relationships by demonstrating expertise, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping them solve their data challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
• Min 3 years prior experience in a presale, solution engineering, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of technology concepts, with a willingness to learn about data management, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Experience with Data Systems, such as ETL, Databases, Analytical tools, or Reporting tools preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
•  Willingness to travel occasionally to client meetings and industry events.
• English mother tongue level a must, other languages a benefit
