Account Executive

Role and Responsibilities

Octopai is looking for an outstanding Account Executive with the ambition to make a difference. You should be experienced in building a pipeline from inbound leads and managing a sales process all the way to closing. You should be comfortable demonstrating via video conference. The position will require quarterly travel. You must be a hunter at heart with a strong desire to win, you should be well organized and a great person to work with. Above all, you should thrive in a fun and exciting work environment.


We are looking for the following:

  • Champions that have a proven track record in selling SaaS solutions internationally, preferably to enterprise companies
  • Familiarity with BI solutions – a plus
  • A highly talented, energized salesperson with the ability to get up to speed and begin managing prospects quickly
  • A star performer that can convincingly portray the platform’s value propositions.
  • Technically savvy enough to understand the technologies involved in BI
  • Able to quickly understand the potential with any given account
  • Familiar with and able to understand the decision and buying process within an enterprise
  • Able to understand the complex challenges faced by BI and data teams, and how Octopai’s platform can address them
  • Able to manage opportunities within existing accounts, follow up, and follow up repeatedly until you close the deal
  • Able to manage existing accounts to expand the breadth and depth of penetration within it


Main duties:

  • Build a sales pipeline from inbound leads, and demo sessions that will be scheduled for you via the SDR team
  • Energetically and convincingly deliver demos via video conference calls
  • Qualify opportunities through discovery during your calls with prospects
  • Move opportunities along the sales process to trial and then to close
  • Maintain and build a successful pipeline for many future quarters
  • Hit or exceed quarterly agreed-upon sales targets
  • Convey client feedback to Octopai’s product and customer success teams


Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience selling B2B SaaS solutions
  • Native English / English as mother tongue – A MUST
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding personal goals and quotas, and the ability to apply such success to new environments
  • Ability to understand the technology involved and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Ability to build close and effective customer relationships and business via video conference, email, and phone
  • Energetic, passionate, tenacious, results-orientated with a high work ethic
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as creative problem-solving abilities
  • B.A or equivalent degree
